Meet the Press Event
Part of our mission is to cultivate diverse young professionals that can contribute to the Tulsa economy. We work to connect our Fellows to professionals within the community to help them build a network and to give Tulsans the opportunity to meet highly-skilled young people with great potential. Our Meet the Press Night is open to the public, giving Tulsans the opportunity to meet the editors, writers, photographers and graphic designers – our Fellows – who will create a publication that features untold, inspiring stories of Tulsa’s youth.

Publication Launch Event
Our fellowships are specifically designed so that our Fellows create a product for the public, which also contributes to the betterment of our community. The book our Fellows produce does just that: it reveals and tells the stories of unheard voices in our community. Our Publication Launch Event allows Fellows to officially share their work with the public in a way that memorializes and gives real importance to their contribution. At this event, we recognize each Fellow’s contribution, we highlight some of the people whose stories are told, and we launch the sale of the book.

Teambuilding
One of our Core Values is Community. We want our Fellows to feel like they are part of the community in which they live and that they are part of a family among their Fellows and Together Tulsa staff. That’s why we provide our Fellows with unique team-building activities, like ropes courses, college visits, field trips, games and more.
Allows our Fellows to attend a team-building or professional development activity outside school, including college visits, training sessions and outdoor adventures.
Snacks & Meals
We aim to ensure that our Fellows receive holistic support – from personal development to professional development – through mentorship, coaching, community-building, friendship and through the provision of essentials. We want our Fellows to know that they are at home when they’re in a Together Tulsa program, so we have budgeted to provide them with the snacks and meals they need to fuel their productivity.
Those local restaurants or companies that provide the snacks and meals our fellows need will help ensure that their most basic needs are met, allowing us to build upon that to provide them with the experiential learning opportunities that will help them break the cycle of poverty.
Publication Printing
This sponsorship allows us to print 1000 copies of our Fellows’ publication. Publishing and printing allows our Fellows to become entrepreneurs as they learn how to present and sell their product to the public, allowing Together Tulsa to generate a profit and provide more programs to underserved teens.
Salaries & Stipends
This sponsor provides the funding for our Executive Director and Advisor to be funded as part time employees of Together Tulsa for one year, ensuring the viability of our organization and the quality of programming we can provide. Secondarily, this sponsorship allows us to provide stipends to our after-school youth to give them a financial incentive and support that keeps them committed to the fellowship.
